BELI4VE was founded in 2021, shortly after the Mayor of Raleigh proclaimed August 21st as Devonté Graham Day—a moment that honored Devonté’s accomplishments and his deep connection to his hometown. Inspired by that recognition, Devonté created the BELI4VE community to give back to the place that shaped him.
As a proud Southside Raleigh native and NBA player, Devonté Graham grew up believing in the importance of hard work, discipline, and self-confidence to open doors. That belief not only propelled him to the NBA but also fuels his mission through the Devonte Graham Believe Foundation to help young people believe in themselves and pursue their dreams with purpose.
The name BELI4VE encapsulates that mission, with the “4” replacing the “E” as a tribute to Devonté’s lifelong jersey number—a number he has worn since he first picked up a basketball at just four years old. Today, BELI4VE stands as a powerful symbol of possibility, perseverance, and the importance of believing in your own potential.
